Education Loan
Education Loan is designed to support students in pursuing higher education in Nepal or abroad by financing tuition fees and related educational expenses. The loan is granted based on academic merit, admission confirmation, and financial capacity of parents/guardians.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant should have received an offer letter of admission from the educational institution.
- TDS receipt/certificate, where applicable.
Documents Required
- Loan application form duly filled by the applicant and co-signed by both parents/guarantor.
- Copies of academic certificates of the student.

Offer letter of admission from the institution.
In case of a new session under MBBS/MD courses in Nepal, eligible students must submit documents required for appearing in the entrance examination. If the institution requires an approved loan facility letter from the bank prior to securing admission, such letter confirming secured admission must be obtained before loan disbursement. - One photograph each of the applicant, parents, and guarantors.
- Citizenship/passport certificates of the student, parents, and guarantors.
- Relationship certificate.
- Copy of land/building ownership certificate (Lalpurja).
- Documents showing source of collateral (Rajinama, Anshabanda, Bakaspatra, etc.).
- Four Boundary Certificate (Char Killa).
- Blueprint/trace map of proposed collateral land.
- Land revenue tax receipt (Malpot).
- In case of loan against building within municipality: documents fulfilling required standards set by the competent authority such as Nakasapass, building construction approval from municipality along with drawing plan, and building completion certificate.
